Saudade
This ongoing body of work is inspired by the concept of Saudade—a profound and melancholic longing for someone or something cherished yet absent. It explores the emotional landscape of love for people once known, moments that have faded, and opportunities that have slipped away. Through visual narratives, the work reflects on themes of personal loss, articulating the dualities of companionship and solitude.

‘Saudade’ and its individual pieces have received several awards and features, including a Silver award in the Abstract Category of the reFocus Black and White Photo Contest. The work has also been exhibited in multiple group shows, such as Comp-stomp Studios’ ‘Greyscale’ exhibition, the Shillr Mobile Gallery in 2022, The Holy Art Gallery’s ‘Fragmented’(2021) and ‘Elysium’ (2022) group exhibitions, as well as the Alternative Arts’ ‘Power and Glory’ group exhibition.
